Hey. I'm James.
Growing up, my dad was a professional photographer in Scottsdale, AZ. I'll forever be grateful for the 1000s of 8X10s he sold to provide life for his family, but after watching him consistently deal with screaming babies, high-maintenance seniors, and Scottsdale bridezillas, I knew there was no way I'd ever become a photographer. But, you know life can take unexpected turns, right?
My boys started playing sports and my camera phone couldn't keep up.
Fast forward a few years, I'm at my boys' soccer game, and it hits me that my trusty iPhone just isn't cutting it for capturing those action-packed moments. So, I decided to upgrade to a slightly better camera, and then another, and before I knew it, other parents were asking me to snap some shots for them too. Eventually, it turned into a passion.

For more than a decade, I've been perfecting my skills, and upgrading my gear. Someday, when I retire, I'd love to spend winters in Florida near Disneyworld and summers as the premiere U.S. National Parks photographer. I've got a few years still to convince my wife. Until then, I'd be honored to share the gift of photography with you.
